Play Ball!
YMCA t-ball is a home run! These programs are designed to help players learn basic skills such as batting, catching, throwing, and the rules of the game. All kids are encouraged to play by getting equal chances to bat, run bases, and play in the field.
YMCA youth sports encourage and promote healthy kids, families, and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, healthy competition rather than rivalry, the value of participation over winning, team-building as well as individual development, a positive self-image and a sense of fair play and mutual respect for others.
Families are encouraged to be more than mere spectators by volunteering as coaches and being their kids' greatest fans.
