Founded in 1912 by the Colman family, Camp Colman was built on a foundation of nurturing the potential of youth, promoting healthy living, and fostering social responsibility. The camp as we know it today, has been providing kids, teens, and adults an opportunity to explore nature, learn outdoor skills, and gain a new found respect for the environment since 1966.
Located on the Key Peninsula just over an hour from the greater Seattle area, Camp Colman sits at the foothills of the majestic Olympic Mountains on Case Inlet. Boasting over 100 acres, the property includes over a half mile of Puget Sound beachfront with views of the Cascade Mountains, an enclosed six acre lagoon, an expansive lodge, and quaint cabins nestled among the evergreen trees.
With an ecologically diverse location and over 100 years of hosting campers, we can proudly say that Camp Colman is the perfect place for all to discover who they are and the gifts they have to share.

With options for campers ages 3-103, weekend and week-long camps, and activities for the whole family, finding your perfect camp experience is easy.
Campers entering grades 1-12 find their sense of wonder while exploring the great outdoors and trying new experiences. Our summer overnight camps offer something for everyone with a variety of activities including archery, arts & crafts, swimming, boating, songs, skits, and values sessions where campers can share and reflect.
Offered in spring and fall, Y weekend family camps and retreats provide the perfect respite for you to experience the wonder of the outdoors through traditional camp activities, quaint cabin lodging, and nutritious and delicious meals, all while enjoying quality outdoor time together with family and friends.
Plan your school’s next field trip through our Outdoor Environmental Education program where individuals are encouraged and empowered to discover their unique strengths in an inclusive, low-risk environment. The program supports Environmental Sciences, Outdoor Skills, and Challenge Education opportunities.
With acres of mossy forest, an enclosed saltwater lagoon, wildlife and bird watching opportunities, and access to the tidepools of Puget Sound, Camp Colman offers practically unlimited options for outdoor exploration and environmental education. Not to mention a vast lineup of exciting activities that keep campers active and engaged.
Camp Colman offers activities for all areas of interest from fan favorites such as archery, boating, sing-a-longs, and arts & crafts to the giant swing, climbing wall, and challenge course all led by our amazing super fun camp staff.
Campers share meals (vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options available) in the historic Anderson Lodge and sleep soundly in fully-enclosed cabins featuring private bathrooms and decks with amazing peek-a-boo water views.

We offer a voluntary, two-tiered pricing program based on the needs of your family. This program is completely confidential and in no way affects the quality of the experience your child receives.
Our goal is to remove barriers that prevent anyone from participating in our programs, including financial barriers. If our lowest tier price still creates a financial barrier that prevents you from participating in our programs, we invite you to fill out a financial assistance application. Once we have reviewed your application, you will receive a code by email that you can use at checkout to automatically apply your approved award, or you may pay a $50 deposit and choose the financial assistance option during registration and apply for your award at a later date.

Every young person deserves to experience the outdoors regardless of financial barriers. When you make a tax-deductible donation to support Camp Colman, you’ll help remove the financial barriers that prevent many kids and teens from experiencing the magic of camp.
Offering active days spent learning new skills and making lifelong friends, Y Day Camps offers fun camp activities to engage brains, exploration rotations to encourage kids to try new things, and plenty of physical activity and games to keep bodies moving.
Boys, Girls, and All Gender Outdoor Leadership (BOLD & GOLD) expeditions inspire youth ages 11 to 18 to be their most courageous and confident selves as they explore some of the most beautiful and natural places in the Pacific Northwest.
