The Y is More Than A Gym
It's also a place to make lifelong relationships, find or give support in times of need, and have an impact in our community. Will you join us?
At the YMCA of Greater Seattle, we’re building a community where all people, especially the young, are encouraged to develop their fullest potential in spirit, mind, and body. As a member, you not only have access to our facilities and programs, you are supporting your neighbors and strengthening your community through our Social Impact Center, equity and justice initiatives, and volunteer opportunities. Will you join us on our mission to improve the lives of our friends, family, and community?

Resources for individuals, families, schools, and partners that span mental health, housing for young adults, foster care, and youth development. Our services help provide a pathway for all people to reach their full potential.
We are committed to become an anti-racist organization by educating ourselves, reducing barriers, having hard conversations, and unleashing potential for all. Review the steps we have taken and how you can get involved.
We are an organization built and sustained by the community we serve. Giving your time to volunteer at the Y is a rewarding and fun way to support neighbors, strengthen community, and connect with other amazing people.
The Y has been licensing foster homes for over 30 years. We believe the best way to make foster care a healing and supportive community for kids is to offer each foster family individualized support needed to thrive and succeed.
We’re here for families with mental health and substance use counseling services for all ages. Our licensed therapists offer strength-based, trauma-informed approaches to help you gain skills to manage life’s challenges.
No one should go hungry. Lower-income families face increasing health inequities and food scarcity. We’ve expanded our outreach to ensure kids and families in our community have access to healthy meals and snacks.
