Play Ball!

Y t-ball programs are designed to help players learn basic skills such as batting, catching, throwing, and the rules of the game. All kids are encouraged to play by getting equal chances to bat, run bases, and play in the field. Y youth sports encourage and promote healthy kids, families, and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, healthy competition rather than rivalry, the value of participation over winning, team-building as well as individual development, a positive self-image and a sense of fair play and mutual respect for others.

Families are encouraged to be more than mere spectators, by contributing their time as volunteer coaches—as well as being their kid’s greatest fan.

What are your current policies and procedures related to Covid-19?

You and your child(ren)'s safety is our highest priority. We understand Covid-19 safety protocols change frequently, and it can cause confusion. As new guidance emerges and the science develops, we continuously seek ways to minimize risk to the community. We appreciate our staff and members’ flexibility and willingness to shift as we seek an end to the pandemic.

Our mask and vaccine policy is based on local, state, and federal regulations plus best practices for similar industries across the country.

Our staff are trained to follow all safety protocols and cleaning procedures, including thoroughly sanitizing touchpoints between groups or programs.

What should my child wear and bring for t-ball?

Your child should wear comfortable clothes, a baseball cap, and closed toe shoes (preferably athletic shoes). Your child should also bring a non-glass water bottle. Baseball and/or softball gloves are recommended but not required.

Does my child need to be potty trained?

Yes, all participants must be potty trained.
