Counseling Services

Counseling is for everybody. From ages 6 to 106+, our licensed therapists offer strength-based, trauma-informed approaches to help you understand yourself and gain skills to manage life’s challenges.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, our communities’ need for mental health support and substance use services has skyrocketed, leading us to adjust by increasing our offerings to provide these critical services to all ages, Y members, and non-members of King County. If you’ve felt isolated, depressed, or anxious during the pandemic, now is the time to contact us. At the Y, our therapists are here to help you care for your whole self with issues such as:

  • Stress, anxiety, and depression
  • Family and relationship issues
  • Grief, loss, and other life transitions
  • Substance use and addiction
  • Self-harm
  • Gender identity
  • Body image
  • Conflict resolution
  • Court requirements related to mental health or substance use
  • Foster support
  • Adoption support
