Students discover what they love through our proprietary curriculum centered around STEM, career-connected learning, arts, literacy, education, and diversity and global learning. Discovering the world is fun and safe with the Y, the experts at helping kids grow and learn in spirit, mind, and body.
Check out our November theme: Thankful Hearts, Helping Hands.
In this activity, students will create their own birds and explore the effects of static electricity.
In this lesson, students will generate ideas about service learning and discuss the benefits of giving back. They will think about how service learning can support them as they look toward their futures. In the spirit of giving back, they will also have a closing activity focused on “self-care.”
We are thankful! Students will have the opportunity to generate ideas of gratitude as they create their own Gratitude Turkeys!
Give Back Coupons
Let us express our gratitude to others by creating a coupon book to give back to the ones that we love.
Let’s MOVE while we learn about the Electoral College. Students will learn about the process of electing a new president as they get their heart rates up!
Diversity & Global Learning
With the season of celebrations upon us, students will go global as they work together to study celebrations around the world.
