Healthy Aging Series - Preventing Diabetes

Yes! You can prevent or delay type 2 diabetes with proven, achievable lifestyle changes—such as losing a small amount of weight and getting more physically active—even if you’re at high risk. In our interactive learning session, we’ll identify the risk factors for Type 2 Diabetes and learn strategies to reduce your risk through an overview of the year-long prevention program offered by the YMCA of Greater Seattle. Session led by Robin Jones, a Certified Health and Diabetes Prevention Coach and Whole Person Health Supervisor for the YMCA of Greater Seattle.
