Active Older Adults (AOA) at the YMCA of Greater Seattle build relationships and create a network of friends who provide support for overall health and well-being. We’ve got a full line-up of virtual and in-person activities designed specifically for our AOA friends, plus other great programs like virtual cooking classes or lap swim that we think you'll enjoy!   • Healthy Aging Friday - Bone Health | December 3, 11:00 am 
    The presentation will cover racial and ethnic differences along with the prevention, early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of osteoporosis. The incidence of fractures from falls in the U.S. was declining, but in recent years, this improvement has reversed.   • Community Café - Boosting Your Immunity with Food | December 7, 1:00 - 2:00 pm
    Join us for an introduction to foods that play an important role in your immune system. YMCA of Greater Seattle cooking instructor Katrina Gangsaas will talk about key nutrients, where to find them in food, and demonstrate how to make a tasty meal to support your immune system.   • Community Café - Nourishing Spirit, Mind and Body Through Dance |December 14, 1:00 - 2:00 pm
    Join us for a fun-inducing, stress reducing, Cafe with Pam Kuntz. Pam is a Senior Dance Instructor at WWU. She also started Bellingham Repertory Dance and has taught a community class for people with Parkinson's or other neurological disorders.
