Most BOLD & GOLD trips travel to one of three stunning locations in Washington State.

Located three hours northeast of Seattle, North Cascades National Park offers breathtaking mountainscapes, clear blue lakes, and glacial streams. This is the setting for one- and two-week courses such as Call of the North Cascades, Backpacking and Fishing, Poets and Peaks, and American Alps.

Five hours southwest of Seattle, Olympic National Park is where rugged coastlines meet lush rainforests and picturesque mountainsides. The Olympic Coast hosts backpacking trips such as Backpacking and Yoga and Olympic Coastal Challenge, while Heart of Nature and Journey to Olympus explore the park’s stunning interior.
From local day camps and week-long overnight camps to multi-week trips and family camps, we believe that no matter your background, skill level, or schedule, there’s a place for your family at the Y!
Your investment will help ensure that economic situations are not a barrier for young people to participate in BOLD & GOLD, help our region grow healthier, and allow more young people to experience the outdoors.
With a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, improving health and well-being, and supporting our neighbors, your membership will not just bring about meaningful change in yourself, but also in your community.
