From kids, teens, and adults to seniors and families, the Y has "virtually" something for everyone! Created just for members, the Virtual Y is your new destination for at-home, whole-person health content only the Y can deliver.

We're expanding our live and on-demand classes just for members. All that's needed is your email address to sign in. Before we launch, consider checking your contact information or ending your membership hold.
We've created a new, easy to use library of live and on-demand classes filmed at our local Y's. Popular classes include Barre, AOA Strength & Chair, High Intensity Interval Training, and Yoga.
Bring hours of engaging DIY learning and fun into your home with on-demand video lessons for every kid. Topics include STEM, outdoor environmental education, arts & crafts, sports & movement, and so much more.
The Y is nothing without community. Keep an eye out for new ways to engage, from connecting over video in a group exercise class to helping us improve this platform through brief surveys. The Virtual Y is built for you, by you!

Our virtual and interactive cooking classes focus on nutritious and delicious foods. Classes are free for Y members or $15 for community members. Learn more >

1. I thought you already had online classes? What’s different with Virtual Y?
With Virtual Y, we’re making major improvements to virtual content, including:
The Virtual Y is just for members, launching Wednesday, January 27th.
2. What is happening to the classes you stream on Facebook?
We will continue to stream group exercise classes to Facebook through Friday, February 12. After the 12th, we will invite community to use a limited number of classes and on-demand content in our Healthy Living Room. If you are not yet a member, consider joining us or learning more about the benefits of membership.
3. My membership is on hold. Can I still use Virtual Y?
Like other membership benefits, your membership must be active in order to use Virtual Y. You can get started re-activating your membership hold using this brief form.
4. Is there a cost for Virtual Y?
The Virtual Y is free for members. If you’re not a member and are interested in Virtual Y content, consider joining us or learning more about the benefits of membership. Financial assistance is available if you need it.
5. Do you have a membership option just for Virtual Y access? I don’t want to use the Y in-person.
We do not currently have a virtual-only membership option. However, membership is so much more than a gym. Learn more about the variety of membership benefits. Financial assistance is available if you need it.
6. Do I need to download an app to use Virtual Y?
You do not need a mobile app to access the Virtual Y. Once it launches, you will be able to sign in to Virtual YMCA on any device, including your phone or tablet, to take a class with us or use an on-demand workout. We do not currently have a mobile app for the Y of Greater Seattle.
