.
Find Your Adventure
From local day camps and week-long overnight camps to multi-week trips, we believe that no matter your background, skill level, or schedule, there’s a place for your family at the Y!
Summer Overnight Camp

Camp Colman and Camp Orkila have been staples of Washington for more than 100 years. They offer youth the chance to explore their individuality, become a part of a community, and enjoy outdoor experiences like archery, rock climbing, and s’mores over the campfire.
BOLD & GOLD

Adventure is the main ingredient of Boys & Girls Outdoor Leadership Development expeditions (BOLD & GOLD). The natural beauty of these trips inspire youth ages 11–18 to be their most courageous and confident selves as they learn new skills and make lifelong friends.

The Benefits of Camp
From promoting independence and critical thinking to developing social-emotional intelligence and healthy habits, camp offers experiences that will be carried into adulthood.
Independent Exploration
A child's experience at camp, away from family, promotes independence which is integral to developing a sense of identity and becoming self-reliant as they explore their interests and discover inner strengths.
Social-Emotional Skills
We offer an environment where kids are invited to share their whole selves. Kids build friendships, develop healthy conflict resolution skills, and learn to evaluate risk to make thoughtful decisions.
Healthy Living Mindset
We bring our expertise in healthy living and youth development together in one place. Encouraging kids to build healthy habits in spirit, mind, and body are skills learned at camp that will last a lifetime.
Connection with Nature
Nature helps to soothe the senses, increases immunity, and encourages kids to ponder the mystery of the natural world. Camp is also a great motivator to keep kids exploring the environment long after.

Find Your Camp
While our day camps are typically found at local elementary schools and parks, the Y also owns several inspirational camp properties throughout Puget Sound
Camp Colman

Located on the Key Peninsula on Case Inlet, Camp Colman boasts more than 100 acres of ancient forest, a half mile of Puget Sound beachfront, and an enclosed six acre lagoon. With such an ecologically diverse location and over 100 years of hosting campers, we can proudly say that Camp Colman is the perfect place for all to discover who they are and the gifts they have to share.
Camp Orkila

Camp Orkila is just a ferry ride away in the breathtaking San Juan Islands on Orcas Island. A host of activities including a 1,000 foot zipline, in-ground pool, and marine center, provide opportunities for fun that are practically limitless. Orkila's picturesque setting featuring 280 acres of beach, forest, and meadows, will capture both your heart and your imagination.
Camp Kilworth

Located on the shoreline of Puget Sound in what is now the City of Federal Way in Southwest King County, Camp Kilworth will be a place to nurture the potential of youth, promote healthy living, and foster social responsibility.
Camp Mineral Lake

Coming soon... a new overnight camp and environmental education center under the shadow of Mt. Rainier. Camp Mineral Lake will bring the splendor of the great outdoors to more youth while protecting the environment by leaving the forest substantially intact and undeveloped.
Camp Terry

Located on the Raging River in Preston, Washington, Camp Terry provides a range of programs including outdoor day camp, environmental education, and group rental spaces. Supported by a host of outdoor activities, it's an awesome way to spend the day.
Why the Y
At the Y, we're dedicated to helping every child be their best selves.
Affordable for All
Every kid deserves the benefits of camp! At the Y, we believe family financial situations should not be a barrier for kids to attend day camp, resident camp, or outdoor leadership expeditions. Thanks to our generous donors who make this possible.
A History of Excellence
We're the camp experts! For over 130 years we have been providing world-class outdoor experiences in the northwest. Every day we learn more about how to be the most fun, most life-changing, and most inclusive camps for years to come.
Charismatic Counselors
Sometimes kids leave saying it was the best summer ever, but what they really mean is they had the best counselor ever! Our counselors are specially trained to bring their best every day and to bring the magic (and safety!) of camp to life.
Birth to Graduation
The real gift of the Y is the lifelong support kids receive. From birth to graduation, your child is a part of a caring community with programs that support early education, youth sports, healthy living, camp, and academic support.
