Originally deeded to the YMCA by Clarence C. Terry in 1942 for $10, Camp Terry, an easy 20 minute drive east on I-90 from Seattle, has grown to provide a range of programs including outdoor day camp, environmental education opportunities, and group rental spaces. Supported by a host of outdoor activities, Camp Terry is a great place to spend the day.

Camp Terry boasts 10.5 acres of forest and approximately 1,000 feet of beachfront along the Raging River. With several options for indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, on-site restrooms, and a variety of recreational opportunities, it is an ideal location for a family reunion, church outing, staff retreat, corporate training, or other group gathering that wishes to take advantage of the natural environment.
Camp Terry has two spacious yurts with electricity and feature attached decks.
Both can accommodate up to 25 people comfortably with plenty of warm natural light.
Several assembly areas plus three fire pits provide spaces for groups to meet outdoors.

Camp Terry is also home to hundreds of children throughout the summer that attend our popular weekly day camps and environmental education programs.
YMCA Outdoor Day Camp offers the fun and freedom of being outdoors while learning new skills and making friends. Each week offers new adventures to enjoy and stay active through hiking and exploring the natural environment plus plenty of traditional favorites like archery, arts & crafts, swimming, camp songs, field trips, and more.
Our outdoor education program, suitable for kids and adults alike, teaches about the natural world while promoting teambuilding skills through group projects. Participants learn how the environment intersects with their everyday life and what they can do to make a positive, long-term impact in their community.
