Traditional Camp

Traditional camp activities may include swimming at the pool, discovering marine life on the beach, arts and crafts, tackling the climbing wall or zipline and enjoying special all-camp events like campfires, dances and carnival. Broken down into 3 age groups - Seekers, Explorers or Challengers - choose the one most appropriate for your camper.

Specialty Camps

Our Specialty Camps are designed for a wide range of experience, from beginner to expert. Throughout the week, groups generally spend half of the day focused on their specialty area, (i.e. fishing or horseback riding). For the remainder of a day, the group’s activities may include swimming in the pool, arts & crafts, archery, visiting the camp store, capture-the-flag, all camp events and campfires.

Teen Expeditions

Teens are drawn to YMCA Expeditions, not just to explore new places, but for the thrill of personal accomplishment and team connection. Expeditions cover a lot more than terrain and water — they're journeys that tap into the very best that each teen has to offer, for themselves and the well-being and growth of the group. One, two and four week programs available.

Teen Leadership Programs

Teen leadership programs build confidence and teach skills for teens to become leaders and role models at camp, in school and throughout their community.

Orcas Island Day Camp

At Camp Orkila, day campers participate in theme-based weeks full of activity and camp fun! Each session lasts one week, and runs Monday through Friday with days beginning at 8:45am and ending at 4:45pm. Campers are divided into two age groups: Little Si (1st-3rd graders) and Big Si (4th-6th graders). Both  age levels will have a field trip once a week. Day campers may also register for on-site swim lessons. Lunch is provided.
