September and October 2022 New Membership Promotion
By participating in this offer, member agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, in addition to all membership and program Terms and Conditions, including Cancellation and Refund policies. Member must comply with these Terms and Conditions for the offer to be valid.
New Member Offer
- Offer dates: September 6-30 and October 1-31
- New joins: $0 join fee + up to $25 off first program
Eligibility Details
New join eligibility:
- New memberships must be sold between September 6-30 or October 1-31 to receive 100% off joining fees and a coupon code for up to $25 off membership facility programs.
- Coupon code is available for use immediately upon membership enrollment. YMCA staff may redeem coupon code at a YMCA of Greater Seattle membership facility.
- Individuals and households without an active or on-hold membership are eligible.
- Current members including members currently on hold are not eligible.
Program coupon eligibility and usage guidelines:
- Each new individual or household that joins September 6-30 or October 1-31 will receive a coupon code upon membership enrollment to receive up to $25 off a program offered at any one of the YMCA of Greater Seattle’s 14 membership facilities.
- If the program cost is more than $25, the total cost will be reduced by $25 upon entering the coupon code. If the program cost is less than $25, the total cost will be reduced to $0 and the coupon code will no longer be valid.
- The coupon code is valid from the date of membership enrollment through November 30, 2022. The coupon code will expire at 11:59 pm November 30, 2022, and will no longer be available for use beginning 12:00 am December 1.
- Coupon code must be used by expiration date, but program may take place after expiration date.
- Program coupon is valid on active memberships only. Program coupon is not valid on hold memberships. Program coupon is not valid on programs without an active membership.
- Program coupon excludes programs that do not take place at a YMCA of Greater Seattle membership location including but not limited to: school enrichment, early education, family camp, overnight camp, teen expeditions, day camp, Youth and Government, Earth Service Corps, global programs
Financial assistance eligibility:
- Memberships and programs are eligible for Affordable For All pricing consistent with current policy.
- Program coupon can be applied at time of purchase in addition to Affordable for All pricing.
Hold eligibility:
- Standard hold policy applies to membership.
- Program coupon is not valid on hold memberships.
Exchange and transfer eligibility:
- Program coupon may not be transferred to another account.
- Promotion value not redeemable for cash and cannot be combined with any other coupons, offers (with the exception of 100% off joining fees), discounts (with the exception of Affordable For All pricing), or promotions.
- Promotion value may not be applied as an account credit and cannot be placed on a member’s account for later use.
- Promotion values are non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash or credit.
- Promotion value cannot be applied to previous purchases and/or transactions.
Cancellations and Refunds:
- Membership Cancellation and Refund Policies apply.
- Members who wish to cancel within 30 days of joining must do so in writing. Members who cancel within 30 days of joining are subject to a full refund. Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method.
- Members who wish to cancel their membership after 30 days must do so in writing. The cancellation will be processed prior to their next draft and the membership will remain active through what the member has paid. We do not prorate remaining monthly membership value.
- The exception to prorated value is for prepayment for annual, 6-month or 3-month memberships. In this situation, fees paid for the months beyond the current 30-day cycle may be prorated.
- Members must have an active membership through the end of any registered programs to receive facility member pricing.
- Program coupon is valid on active memberships only. Program coupon is not valid on hold memberships. Program coupon is not valid on programs without an active membership.
YMCA of Greater Seattle reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time at its discretion, which changes we will post at www.seattleymca.org.

Eligibility Details
New join eligibility:
- Individuals or households registered in a YMCA program from May 1-September 30 and who join between September 6-30 are eligible to receive 100% off joining fees and up to $50 off the first month’s membership dues.
- Individuals and households without an active or on-hold membership are eligible.
- Current members, including members currently on hold, are not eligible.
Membership coupon code discount eligibility and usage guidelines:
- All program participants who meet eligibility criteria will receive two coupon codes: (1) one to discount the joining fee 100% and (2) one for up to $50 off the first month’s membership dues at the time of membership enrollment.
- Coupon codes are valid at any one of the YMCA of Greater Seattle’s 14 membership facilities and at www.seattleymca.org. If the first month's membership dues are more than $50, the total cost will be reduced by $50 upon entering the coupon code.
- If the first month’s membership dues are less than $50, the total cost will be reduced to $0 and the coupon code will no longer be valid.
- The coupon code is valid September 6, 2022, through September 30, 2022, and will expire at 11:59 pm September 30, 2022.
- Membership coupon is valid on memberships only, it may not be applied to any YMCA programs.
