We are pleased to introduce Andy Sharpe to the University Family Y! Andy comes with a lifetime of Y experience – both as a participant and staff.

At 8 years-old, Andy attended Y day camp at Alamance County Community YMCA in Burlington, North Carolina and later became a camp counselor. After college, he joined the Y as a staff member, beginning in youth development programs and later leading branch operations. Prior to joining our Y, Andy served as the Associate Executive Director at the Northshore Y for three years.

Andy looks forward to learning more about the community, developing staff in their roles, and being involved in the capital project for our new Y. Stop by and say hello the next time you’re at the branch.
