Recipe: Five Flavors of Yogurt

MANGO GREEK YOGURT

  • ½ cup chopped mango (fresh or frozen & thawed)
  • ½ teaspoon honey
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Add mango and honey to blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Mix mango puree and yogurt until combined.


BERRY GREEK YOGURT

  • 1 cup berries of choice
  • ½ teaspoon honey
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Add berries and 3 tablespoons water to a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Simmer until berries can be broken down with a wooden spoon – about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool before stirring in the honey, yogurt and vanilla extract.


CHOCOLATE BANANA YOGURT

  • 1 very ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mix all ingredients together until smooth.
     


CILANTRO MINT YOGURT

  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh mint leaves
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mix all ingredients together until well combined.

 

SAVORY SPICED YOGURT

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon coriander
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mix all ingredients together until smooth.
