Ready to take your family on an Ocean Odyssey—no beach required? Whether you're exploring your neighborhood, visiting local parks, or planning a weekend outing, there are many simple ways to bring ocean-inspired learning and play into your everyday life. 

This A-Z guide is filled with easy and engaging ideas to help your family dive into ocean exploration together! 

A is for Aquarium

Visit a local aquarium or pet store to observe fish and sea life up close. 

B is for Beach Walk

Take a walk along the beach or lakeshore and look for shells, rocks, and seaweed. 

C is for Create Waves

Fill a container with water and experiment with making waves using your hands or small objects. 

D is for Dolphin Watch

Watch a short nature video and learn how dolphins communicate. 

E is for Explore Tide Pool 

If you're near the coast, explore tide pools and discover tiny sea creatures. 

F is for Fish Spotting

Visit a pond or lake and see what fish you can spot below the surface.

G is for Green Seaweed

Look for plants near water and compare them to ocean seaweed.
