The Norcliffe Foundation recently awarded the YMCA of Greater Seattle a $3M grant in support of the New Overnight Camp capital project. This gift represents the full amount requested to purchase property and begin development of a new outdoor overnight camp in a mountain setting.

"We are grateful to The Norcliffe Foundation for its generosity," said Meredith Cambre, Executive Director of YMCA Camping & Outdoor Services. "This gift by such a well-known foundation gives us a tremendous lift and momentum to move forward with the development of this project."

Complementing our two waterfront overnight camps: YMCA Camp Colman and YMCA Camp Orkila, the new overnight camp will be developed to serve more families and non-traditional camp programs, and help us nearly double the number of campers we serve in the coming years.

We are actively searching for an outstanding new property, and fundraising continues for strategic projects to enhance the camp experience at YMCA Camp Colman & YMCA Camp Orkila.
