Families are better together! One of the greatest gifts that you can give to your family is the time that you all spend together. In today's world, too many families are go, go, go all of the time resulting in too little time spent together. Try to find an hour a day when your entire family has an opportunity to connect and share. Here are 8 fun ways to spend an hour or two together this spring:
Bring a picnic lunch to the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA’s gymnasium, jump in the bounce castle and race in the inflatable obstacle course.
Use your engineering skills and your imagination to build something rad at the Meredith Mathews East Madison YMCA
Learn new recipes that you can make together at home! German Pancakes and Sautéed Apples, Enchiladas and Mexican Rice, and Pasta Salad are on the menu this spring at the Northshore YMCA
Dig in the dirt at the Coal Creek Family YMCA. Work in the Y’s garden beds, learn about companion planting and add your personal touch with painted rocks.
Get the wiggles out as you jump, tumble and roll in a bounce house at the Matt Griffin YMCA.
Laugh out loud as you enjoy the silliest magician around at the Sammamish Community YMCA. Xakary, a professional magician that was featured on American’s Got Talent, will delight your family!
Play on the mats, climb and slide through the inflatable obstacle course and run on the track at the West Seattle YMCA.
Healthy Kids Day is a chance each year to celebrate fun and family while learning lifelong skills for health. This is a day for kids and families to try new, exciting ways to be active and inspire imaginations at YMCA branches across King and south Snohomish counties.
May the 4th be with you! The Galaxy is counting on you. Get ready with obstacle course challenges, agility training, light sabre sparring and more at Bellevue Family YMCA.
Get silly as you make a colorful stress ball, magnetic slime and pom pom shooters at the Auburn Valley YMCA’s Family Fun Night.
