Play Safely in the Gym

For the safety of all, members are expected to abide by the following rules when using our gymnasiums.

Youth permitted if Supervising Individual:

YMCA staff have final say regarding court conduct and may remove offensive players.

Coaching by YMCA approved coaches only, outside coaches NOT permitted without prior approval.

Scheduled activities have priority – refer to posted schedules.

Store bags and personal belongings in lockers, not on gym floor.

Shirt and shoes required at all times.

No horseplay / rough play or dunking / hanging on the rim of net.

No talking or taking photos or videos on cell phone.

No food, drinks, or gum in fitness center – water bottles okay (non-glass).

Report any issues directly to a Y staff member.

Members and guests are required to follow the YMCA Code of Conduct posted in lobby.
