Embark on a new adventure each week by exploring your community and the outdoors in small groups. Weekly themes with activities promoting independence and camper choice ensure an engaging experience all summer long.
Trek camp is a great option for tweens entering grades 5–6.
Registration will open in February as follows:
- February 4 at 6:00 am to February 10 at 12:00 pm: 2025 Day Camp participants, current YMCA Before and After-School Enrichment (BASE) participants, and current YMCA Early Education participants, and their siblings
- February 11 at 6:00 am to February 17 at 12:00 pm: Facility Members of the YMCA of Greater Seattle and the group above
- February 18 at 6:00 am: Open to all

Trek Camp runs Monday–Friday from 9:00 am–4:00 pm during the weeks of:
- June 22-26
- June 29-July 3
- July 6-10
- July 13-17
- July 20-24
- July 27-31
- August 3-7
- August 10-14
- August 17-21
- August 24-26
Extended Camp
We also offer Extended Camp at no additional cost to participants, which consists of supervised activities and structured programs before and after the camp day.
Hours for Extended Camp start at 7:30 am and end at 5:30 pm. You do not need to register separately for Extended Camp.
Extended Camp is available for the Camp Terry transportation options.
- Morning Extended Camp begins at 7:30 am and continues until the bus departure time, which will be between 8:00 and 8:30 am.
- Afternoon Extended Camp begins upon bus arrival between 4:30 and 5:00 pm and continues until 5:30 pm.
- More specific details will be available as we get closer to the start of summer!
If your child is entering grades 5 or 6 this fall, then yes, they can be a Trek Camp camper!

Weekly camp registration closes the Monday before the camp session. For example, for camp starting on June 22, registration closes on June 15.
The Y is committed to ensuring all families access quality and enriching camp programs. The Y provides financial assistance and a sliding fee schedule.

Current Before and After-School Enrichment (BASE) and Early Education families who receive financial assistance will need to reapply for summer programs.
Five-day weekly fees: $400 for Facility Members or $450 for Community Members
A deposit of $25 per week per camper is due upon registration. Payments are drafted on Mondays, two weeks before each camp session. For example, for camp starting on June 22, payment will be drafted on June 8.
We plan to offer field trips to enrichment activities, local parks, and beaches.
We are excited to share that we are able to offer transportation between the Coal Creek Family YMCA in Newcastle, Ben Rush Elementary in Redmond, Samantha Smith Elementary in Sammamish, and the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA.

- Cancellations must be submitted by May 1 to receive a refund of all payments minus the deposit. After May 1, no refunds are available.
- Deposits for YMCA Summer Day Camp are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another Day Camp program through June 1 based on availability.
- All cancellation and change requests must be submitted using the official Day Camp Cancellation & Change Form.

Overnight Camp
