Sport and Swim camp is for kids entering grades 2–5.
Registration will open in February as follows:
- February 4 at 6:00 am to February 10 at 12:00 pm: 2025 Day Camp participants, current YMCA Before and After-School Enrichment (BASE) participants, and current YMCA Early Education participants, and their siblings
- February 11 at 6:00 am to February 17 at 12:00 pm: Facility Members of the YMCA of Greater Seattle and the group above
- February 18 at 6:00 am: Open to all

What days and hours is Sport and Swim Camp offered?
Sport and Swim Camp runs Monday–Friday from 8:30 am–4:30 pm.
There is no Extended Camp available for Sport and Swim Camp.
Is my child the right age for Sport and Swim Camp?
If your child is entering grades 2-5 in the fall, then yes, they can be a Sport and Swim Camp camper!
How soon can I sign my camper up for Sport and Swim Camp?
Registration for Sports and Swim Camp will open in February as follows:

Weekly camp registration closes the Monday before the camp session. For example, for camp starting on June 22, registration closes on June 15.
Does the Y offer financial assistance for Sport and Swim Camp?
The Y is committed to ensuring all families access quality and enriching youth programs. We accept Working Connections Child Care (WCCC) and many other subsidies at most Discovery and Kids on Their Way Camp locations.

Current Before and After-School Enrichment (BASE) and Early Education families who receive financial assistance will need to reapply for summer programs.
What is the fee to participate in Sport and Swim Camp?
Five-day weekly fees: $415 for Y members or $465 for Community members.
A deposit of $25 per week per camper is due upon registration. Payments are drafted on Mondays, two weeks before each camp session. For example, for camp starting on June 22, payment will be drafted on June 8.
Does my camper need to know how to swim to participate?
No, all swim levels are welcome as long as your camper is comfortable in the water and is excited to develop their swim skills. Campers are grouped by swim level at the beginning of the week
How much time will campers spend in the pool?
Campers will spend about 60 minutes daily in the pool, including a 30-minute group swim lesson.
What happens if there are school schedule changes from snow or strike days?
We recognize that these schedules are ever-evolving. If needed, we will adjust camp program dates and fees and communicate any changes with you. Thanks for your patience and flexibility.
What is your cancellation or change policy?

- Cancellations must be submitted by May 1 to receive a refund of all payments minus the deposit. After May 1, no refunds are available.
- Deposits for YMCA Summer Day Camp are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another Day Camp program through June 1 based on availability.
- All cancellation and change requests must be submitted using the official Day Camp Cancellation & Change Form.
