What days and hours is Sports Camp offered?

Sports Camp runs Monday–Friday from 8:30 am–4:30 pm. 

There is no Extended Camp available for Sports Camp.

Is my child the right age for Sports Camp?

If your child is entering grades 2-5 in the fall, then yes, they can be a Sports Camp camper!

How soon can I sign my camper up for Sports Camp?

Registration will open in February as follows:

  • February 4 at 6:00 am to February 10 at 12:00 pm: 2025 Day Camp participants, current YMCA Before and After-School Enrichment (BASE) participants, and current YMCA Early Education participants, and their siblings
  • February 11 at 6:00 am to February 17 at 12:00 pm: Facility Members of the YMCA of Greater Seattle and the group above
  • February 18 at 6:00 am: Open to all

Weekly camp registration closes the Monday before the camp session. For example, for camp starting on June 22, registration closes on June 15.

Does the Y offer financial assistance for Sports Camp?

The Y is committed to ensuring all families access quality and enriching camp programs. The Y provides financial assistance and a sliding fee schedule.

Current Before and After-School Enrichment (BASE) and Early Education families who receive financial assistance will need to reapply for summer programs. 

What is the fee to participate in Sports Camp?

Five-day weekly fees: $390 for Y members or $440 for Community members.

A deposit of $25 per week per camper is due upon registration. Payments are drafted on Mondays, two weeks before each camp session. For example, for camp starting on June 22, payment will be drafted on June 8.

What happens if there are school schedule changes from snow or strike days?

We recognize that these schedules are ever-evolving. If needed, we will adjust camp program dates and fees and communicate any changes with you. Thanks for your patience and flexibility.

What is your cancellation or change policy?

We’ve updated our cancellation policy for 2026. Key details are below. Read the full policy here

  • Cancellations must be submitted by May 1 to receive a refund of all payments minus the deposit. After May 1, no refunds are available.
  • Deposits for YMCA Summer Day Camp are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another Day Camp program through June 1 based on availability.
  • All cancellation and change requests must be submitted using the official Day Camp Cancellation & Change Form
