From all things LEGO® and super-sized science to making art and jump roping, we've partnered with local organizations to bring specialty half-day camps to your neighborhood. Encourage campers to explore their interests and develop new skills. Warning: side effects may include a huge boost in confidence and more fun than you can imagine.

Expioe Dance

Jump into the exciting world of hip-hop dance, where music and movement come together! Learn cool new moves and fun freestyle tricks with our awesome teachers. Join us for a super fun time where every step tells a story, and the dance floor is all yours to show off your style!

Leap4Kidz™

STEAM Art: This camp offers an introduction to STEM using great works of art. Explore the structure in the world around us, create art in styles from throughout history, and learn art theory, history, and anthropology.
LEGO® Machine Madness: This hands-on mechanical engineering camp offers an integrated STEM curriculum with history, language arts, and team decision-making. Build and design with LEGOs® and receive an introduction to levers, gears, pulleys, and more using batteries and motors!

Mad Science

Crazy Chemworks: Create surprising concoctions, break molecules with ease, and shake up a flask full of fun. Use the tools, safety procedures, and laboratory techniques of real chemists as you investigate solids, liquids, and gases at the atomic level. Craft chemical combinations to create super-sticky stuff and discover properties of light. Exploring the elements has never been so much fun!
Super Science Sampler: Science comes in all shapes and sizes this week! Become an engineer, build bridges, and assemble and control pulleys, levers, catapults, and simple machines. Explore physical and chemical reactions through chemistry. Behold birds and beasts as we discover the animal kingdom.

Play-Well TEKnologies

Master your engineering skills and tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer-designed projects. Join us to design and build as never before and explore your craziest ideas.

Robot U

Dive into the world of robotics, constructing incredible Mindstorms and WeDo robots. Under the guidance of expert instructors, kids learn essential STEM skills like engineering, problem-solving, and coding. Through hands-on projects and exciting challenges, campers unleash their creativity and build robots that move, think, and interact with the world around them. It’s a week of fun, learning, and unforgettable robotic creations with challenging builds.

Learn to jump rope with us! Designed for beginners finding their rhythm to seasoned professionals mastering advanced skills—our highly acclaimed jump rope program is led by a team of high-quality instructors passionate about inspiring kids to thrive. Learn single rope, double dutch, long rope, and more with a performance for friends and family!

Smart with Art

Join us to learn new artistic skills in these fun and exciting creative camps. (Themes are tbd)
Road Trip USA: Grab your favorite snacks and hop aboard as we cruise around the United States. We’ll take detours along the way, stopping at historical and quirky locations to inspire our art. We will learn about lighthouses that dot the coastline of Maine and study southwestern patterns as we zip through New Mexico. We might even dip our toes in the sandy shores of the Pacific Ocean as we follow our map of unique and exciting destinations on this artful road trip!
Animals in Art: Get ready to explore artists and their connections with animals. We will look at Andy Warhol's colorful cats and discover Rodrique's Blue Dog paintings. We will also discover and use a variety of materials as we work in 2D and 3D and explore animals from around the world.

Specialty Camp runs Monday–Friday from 9:00 am–1:00 pm.
There is no Extended Camp available for Specialty Camp.
If your child is entering grades 2-5 in the fall, then yes, they can be a Specialty Camp camper!
Registration for day camp will open in February and March as follows:
- February 5 at 6:00 am to February 11 at 12:00 pm: 2024 Day Camp participants, current YMCA Before and After-School Enrichment (BASE) participants, and current YMCA Early Education participants, and their siblings
- February 12 at 6:00 am to March 11 at 12:00 pm: Facility Members of the YMCA of Greater Seattle and the group above
- March 12 at 6:00 am: Open to all, including interest list
New this year! For the first two registration windows, we will email you an exclusive registration link one day prior to your registration window opening.
Weekly camp registration closes two Sundays before the camp session. For example, for camp starting on June 23, registration closes on June 15.
Yes, the Y is committed to ensuring all families access quality and enriching camp programs. The Y provides financial assistance and a sliding fee schedule.
Please complete this short two-minute form to learn more about financial assistance. Once the form is received, our staff will contact you within 3-5 business days.
Five-day weekly fees: $290 for Y members or $340 for Community members.
A deposit of $25 per week per camper is due upon registration. Payments are drafted on the Monday two weeks before each camp session. For example, for camp starting on June 23, payment will be drafted on June 9.

All summer camp cancellations and changes must be submitted to this form by May 1 to be eligible for a full refund minus the deposit. Verbal cancellations or cancellations submitted through other channels cannot be accepted.
All deposits made during summer camp registration are non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation date. Deposits are non-transferable between programs and/or participants.
No refunds or credits will be given for absences, withdrawals, disciplinary suspensions, or removal of a camper. Failure to complete attendance requirements, including electronic forms and waivers or payment, that result in days missed from camp will not be refunded or credited.
Weekly day camp fees will not be pro-rated, refunded, or credited for missed days of camp in a week.
Exceptions to this policy may only be made in extenuating circumstances at the discretion of the organization’s leadership.
