Lifetime Retiree Membership
The Greater Seattle YMCA recognizes the dedication of employees who have devoted their careers to our mission. We provide an opportunity for retired staff to request a Lifetime Retiree Membership as a discretionary reward.
Eligibility Criteria
- Retired from the YMCA of Greater Seattle and the YMCA movement.
- Served at least 20 years in the YMCA in the United States and served at the YMCA of Greater Seattle for at least two years.
- Retired in good standing.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, please email info@seattleymca.org with your name, contact information, and confirmation of each eligibility criteria. Allow up to 14 business days for a response.

We have various membership options for former staff who do not meet the eligibility criteria for a Lifetime Retiree Membership.

Financial Assistance: The Y is committed to ensuring access for all. Through the generous support of local donors, we are able to provide financial assistance through income-based pricing to help cover the cost of membership and programs. Apply online >
Military Outreach Initiative: The YMCA of Greater Seattle and the YMCA of the Armed Forces have partnered to offer memberships and respite care for qualified active-duty, veterans, and retired military members and their families at Ys throughout the country. Learn more >

Our free Try the Y pass allows you and your family to visit the Y three times within one week. Try drop-in classes like group exercise and our state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment.
