Once a year, we may close a local Y for Facility Improvement Week, a week full of projects to improve your Y experience. Check out our 2024 improvement weeks below.

Bellevue Family YMCA

Closed: Monday, February 19 to Sunday, February 25
Reopens: Monday, February 26

We’re improving your Y! Improvements include major replacements, space maintenance and enhancements, and deep cleaning. Our improvements are based on your feedback and our long-term facility maintenance plan.

Our Projects

Hot Water Tank Replacement
Replacing the tank maintains hot water for showers, pool, and restrooms, and minimizes hot water disruptions.

Studio Floors Resurfaced
We'll scrub and clean Studios 1, 2, and 3, and apply a new finishing coat. This maintenance maintains the long-term health of the floor and improves traction.

Gym Floors Resurfaced with new Pickleball lines
You’ve told us how much you love the gym – and pickleball. We’re refinishing the floors to make them look their best and adding wider pickleball lines to improve the game for our players.

Pool and Locker Rooms
We’re improving your swimming experience by repairing tiles in the pool and deep cleaning the pool deck. We heard your feedback about locker room cleanliness, so we’re deep cleaning the locker rooms, restrooms, and family changing rooms.

Deep Cleaning
We know cleanliness throughout the facility is important to you. While all these projects are happening, we’ll be deep cleaning the entire facility for you.
