Infant & Toddler Care
Serving ages 6 weeks to 2 years
Our Infant Toddler programs at the Y create a learning environment for children, a warm “extended” family atmosphere in which children feel secure, comfortable, and important. The educational and recreational activities, the nurturing staff, and the belief that play is an integral way of learning for a young child are all part of our child-centered environment.
Serving ages 2 to 5 years
In Y Preschool programs your child will develop skills to build character values and self-esteem, and improve kindergarten readiness. We base our educational and guidance decisions for children on our knowledge of child development. Our number one goal is to provide the kind of environment and influence that encourage all children to become creative, independent and responsible students who can make positive choices for themselves.
School Age Care
Serving ages 5 - 12 years
When school's out, you can trust the Y to provide an engaging experience for your child right at school. Y School Age Programs give your child the opportunity to get to know some of their classmates better after school as they engage in active play and collaborate on fun projects. In the process, they'll continue to develop the physical, educational, emotional and social skills that are essential for success. This program serves Lea Hill, Arthur Jacobsen, Hazelwood and Washington Elementary Schools.
YMCA Child Care is affordable for all. We accept subsidies and provide financial assistance to ensure all families have access to quality and enriching programs beyond the bell.
