After years of quiet trails and closed gates, Camp Kilworth is alive again with laughter, discovery, and the rhythm of summer camp. With the YMCA of Greater Seattle now at the helm, last year's opening marked more than just the start of a season — it marked a new chapter in Kilworth’s legacy, written by the donors, volunteers, staff, and campers who helped bring it back to life.

Two bald eagles

As summer gets closer, Camp Kilworth is getting ready for its second year of outdoor day camp! This summer at Camp Kilworth, campers can explore scenic trails with breathtaking views of the Sound and the Olympic Mountains, all while keeping an eye out for local wildlife like bald eagles along the beach.

They’ll jump into classic camp games like capture the flag and Gaga ball, get creative with pony bead keychains and watercolor painting inspired by the outdoors, and use binoculars to spot birds and other wildlife around camp.

Campers can also put their observation skills to the test with Camp Bingo, searching for natural treasures like salmonberries and ferns — along with a few fun surprises hidden throughout camp.

From outdoor adventure to hands-on creativity, there’s something new to discover every day at Camp Kilworth this summer.
