Hold or Cancel Your YMCA of Greater Seattle Membership

Hold or Cancel Your Membership
The YMCA of Greater Seattle does not require annual contracts for membership. Memberships in good standing automatically renew on the 1st of each month. Members may cancel or place their membership on hold at any time by submitting written notice through our web form at least 14 days prior to the 1st of the month. Please note that memberships do not automatically cancel due to inactivity.

What to Expect for Fees Related to Current or Future Program Enrollments
To receive member pricing and priority registration, an active membership is required for the full duration of any program or activity. If a membership is cancelled or placed on hold, fees will be adjusted to the non-member rate and billed accordingly.

Use the form below to complete one of the following:

  1. Begin, Extend, or End Your Membership Hold with 14 days' written notice before the 1st of the month.
  2. Cancel Your Membership anytime with 14 days' written notice before the 1st of the month.

See the full policy.
