Water Safety Day is part of the Y's commitment to helping individuals of all ages develop the skills they need to stay safe in and around the water. This free event brings the community together to learn, practice, and prepare for a safer summer and beyond.

Aquatics Hiring Fair
Ready to turn your summer into something meaningful? The Northshore and Kent YMCA are hosting a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor Hiring Fair from 1:00-4:00 pm. Apply in advance, then come prepared to interview, complete any required in-water skills tests, and potentially receive a job offer on the spot!
Free CPR Training
In honor of Water Safety Day, the Dale Turner Family YMCA is offering a free CPR course to help build essential life-saving skills and support a safer summer around the water. This training is designed to help you, your friends, and your family to stay prepared in and around the water.
