Join us for Cause Week — a time to connect, give back, and support the programs that make a difference in our community.
As part of our Annual Fund Drive, Cause Week brings our community together through fun activities and shared purpose — all to support the programs and services that make a difference right here at the Y. Some of these include:

Each year, our camps create a supportive environment for more than 22,000 kids to challenge themselves and explore the great outdoors.

Through food distribution, meal programs, and community partnerships, the Y delivers more than 200,000 meals to help reduce food insecurity for kids and families across our community.

Through fitness, social connection, and wellness programs, the Y helps older adults maintain strength, independence, and meaningful relationships that support Whole Person Health.

As the largest provider of swim lessons, the Y helps 12,000 children and families build confidence and gain essential lifesaving skills that promote safety around water.

Through physical movement, mental health support, resource navigation, and community connection, the Y advances Whole Person Health for all.

With a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, improving health and well-being, and supporting our neighbors, your membership will not just bring about meaningful change in yourself, but also in your community.
As we celebrate 150 years of the YMCA of Greater Seattle, we’re reminded that real impact happens when we show up for one another in our local communities. Whether you make a gift, attend an event, or invite someone to get involved, your action helps strengthen the Y and extend our impact throughout the year.
Giving your time to volunteer at the Y is a rewarding and fun way to support neighbors, strengthen community, and connect with other amazing people.
