• Head to your local park, your backyard, or a beach
• Gather rocks, sticks, flowers, plants, grass, or pick up litter (using gloves)
• Use your materials to spell your name, a favorite word, or a message
• Try one of these adaptations to up the challenge
  • Only use each material only one time, you may have to look far and wide to collect enough treasures
  • Spell your name entirely out of litter, you’ll be cleaning up and practicing spelling at the same time
  • After you’ve spelled your name, see how many different words you can make without adding more materials
