The YMCA of Greater Seattle has a vision that one day, all kids, families, adults and seniors in the Greater Seattle Area will have equitable opportunities to improve their health and well-being and reach their full potential. Together, alongside our neighbors at 13 branches, two overnight camps and hundreds of program sites across King and South Snohomish County, we’re tackling our community’s most urgent needs – giving people hope for a better future, and the means to achieve it.
Accelerator YMCA 2019 Annual Philanthropy Goal: $1.1 million
With your support, the Accelerator YMCA will be able to impact the local community by caring for those who need us most.
We take on the most urgent needs in our community and keep our doors open to all. Your support provides housing for 280 homeless young adults, mental health counseling to more than 3,700 youth, young adults and their families, and a drop-in resource center open four days a week to connect more than 1,700 young people with the education, employment, and other resources they need to get back on their feet. Because when basic needs are met, everyone has a better chance to reach their full potential and our community grows together.
