Northshore Construction Update

As part of our commitment to your quality experience, the Northshore YMCA will be conducting  facility improvement projects during the month of April. The branch will be completely closed from Monday, April 10 – Sunday, April 16. We will open back up on a limited scale Monday, April 17 – Sunday, April 23rd  and fully operating by Monday, April 24 with exception of the Family Gym.

Please Note:

  • The Family Wing will be closed Sunday, April 9. Regular scheduled Child Watch will not be available this day.
  • In addition the family wing and pool* will be closed from April 9 - April 23 for remodeling. We will temporarily relocate our Child Watch program during the week of April 17 - 23. You can view where and when kids zone will be happening at the branch during that week by clicking here.

Among the many planned projects, special attention is being given to:  

  • Remodel of the Family Lobby including the Family Kitchen and new carpets in Child Care 

  • New strength equipment in our Cardio and Strength Room and upgrades to allow tracking of your exercise, goals and achievements 

  • Repair and clean tile work in pool and locker rooms.  Paint and refresh signage in pool area 

  • Replace and update signage throughout the branch for a cleaner, consistent look 

  • Repair water damage in Family Gym floors, repaint lines and refinish the floors . 

WHAT TO DO WHILE WE ARE CLOSED?  

  • Attend a class at our off-site location the Carol Edwards Center.
