KENT, December 12, 2017 — The YMCA of Greater Seattle is excited about the Kent City Council’s full vote today to approve the development and land conveyance agreements associated with this project. This decision will allow the partnership between the City and the Y to continue progress on the development of a full service Y in Morrill Meadows Park in Kent’s East Hill neighborhood. In addition, this agreement will allow for the redevelopment of the park and the building of the Y to happen simultaneously providing new programs and services in summer 2019.
