What days and hours is Minis Camp?

Minis Camps runs Monday–Friday for three hours. Actual times vary by location.

  • Bellevue Family Y: 1:00–4:00 pm
  • Coal Creek Family Y: 1:30–4:30 pm
  • Dale Turner Family Y: 1:00–4:00 pm
  • Fauntleroy Y: 1:00–4:00 pm
  • Kent Y: 12:30–3:30 pm 
  • Matt Griffin Y: 1:00–4:00 pm
  • Northshore Y: 1:00–4:00 pm
  • Sammamish Community Y: 1:00–4:00 pm

There is no Extended Camp available for Minis Camp.

 

Is my child the right age for camp?

If your child is 3–5 years old by the first day of the camp week you choose, they can be a Minis Camp kid!

How soon can I sign up for Minis Camp?

Registration for day camp will open in February and March as follows:

  • February 5 at 6:00 am to February 11 at 12:00 pm: 2024 Day Camp participants, current YMCA Before and After-School Enrichment (BASE) participants, and current YMCA Early Education participants, and their siblings
  • February 12 at 6:00 am to March 11 at 12:00 pm: Facility Members of the YMCA of Greater Seattle and the group above
  • March 12 at 6:00 am: Open to all, including interest list

New this year! For the first two registration windows, we will email you an exclusive registration link one day prior to your registration window opening.

Weekly camp registration closes two Sundays before the camp session. For example, for camp starting on June 23, registration closes on June 15.

Does the Y offer financial assistance for Minis Camp?

Yes, the Y is committed to ensuring all families access quality and enriching summer camp programs. The Y provides financial assistance and a sliding fee schedule.

What is the fee to attend Minis Camp?

Five-day weekly fees: $180 for Y members or $230 for Community members

A deposit of $25 per week per camper is due upon registration. Payments are drafted on the Monday two weeks before each camp session. For example, for camp starting on June 23, payment will be drafted on June 9.

Does my child need to be potty trained?

Your child must be potty trained or wearing pull-ups and close to accident-free to attend Minis Camp. If you have questions about your child's readiness, please email us at youthsupport@seattleymca.org.

What is your cancellation or change policy?

All summer camp cancellations and changes must be submitted to this form by May 1 to be eligible for a full refund minus the deposit.  Verbal cancellations or cancellations submitted through other channels cannot be accepted.

All deposits made during summer camp registration are non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation date. Deposits are non-transferable between programs and/or participants.  

No refunds or credits will be given for absences, withdrawals, disciplinary suspensions, or removal of a camper. Failure to complete attendance requirements, including electronic forms and waivers or payment, that result in days missed from camp will not be refunded or credited.

Weekly day camp fees will not be pro-rated, refunded, or credited for missed days of camp in a week.

Exceptions to this policy may only be made in extenuating circumstances at the discretion of the organization’s leadership.
