Recipe: Fruit & Nut Breakfast Bars

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup softened butter
  • ½ cup ounces mixed dried fruit & nuts
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup honey

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Line an 8X8” baking pan with parchment paper and grease.
  3. In your food processor, pulse the butter, fruit, nuts, oats, flour, baking powder, and salt until mixture comes together.
  4. Add honey and pulse until combined.
  5. Transfer to prepared baking dish and press into the corners.
  6. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before lifting out and allowing to cool completely on a wire rack.
  8. Cut into 16 squares and enjoy!
