It feels great to push your body while breaking a sweat with intense exercise, but the recovery from exercise is just as important as the workout itself! Here are three tips for relaxing your muscles after exercise.
2. Get Enough Sleep
Try and get between 7-9 hours of sleep every night. While you sleep, your muscles repair themselves.
3. Take a Cold Shower
Taking a cold shower after a workout helps more blood flow to the muscles. It also aids in the decrease of inflammation of muscles, joints, and tendons.
