On July 23, 2020, Dr. Milton Curtis hosted a live, virtual class about Senior Fall Prevention.

Attendees learned about the magnitude of problems related to falls in the senior population and came away with actions that they or their senior family members could take to stay safe and maintain independence as they age. Dr. Curtis also introduced us to the Senior Safety Score, developed through his work in his non-profit organization, the Senior Safety Prevention Initiative, which helps identify the most common risks associated with falls.

If you missed the class, you can watch the recorded video here, or review his PowerPoint presentation here

Dr. Milton Curtis is a retired Family Medicine Doctor with 35 years of clinical practice including 5½ years as the medical director for the Family Medicine Department at Evergreen Hospital.
