As a single working mom, Heather struggled to find quality, affordable child care for her son, Bob. But thanks to the Matt Griffin Y’s financial assistance program, Heather was able to enroll Bob in the Y’s before and after school care program.

Since joining the program more than a year ago, Bob has transformed into a happy, playful child, learning social skills with his peers and how to respect other perspectives and opinions. And Heather can go to work confident her son is well taken care of while she’s away.
