Camp Colman & Camp Orkila Updates

First, we hope that you and all those around you are safe and healthy. Thanks for your patience while we evaluated plans for the upcoming summer. We are grateful you have chosen to spend your summer with the Y and that you are standing with us as we navigate through uncharted waters.

We considered our options carefully. The health, safety and overall welfare of kids, families, and our staff remain our top priorities. Based on recommendations and regulations from the American Camp Association, Y of the USA, Centers for Disease Control, and state, county and federal agencies, we have made the decision to cancel our youth camping activities at Camp Colman and Camp Orkila for June, July and August. 

Rather than our traditional youth camps, we will offer Family Camp, a fun and safe getaway with traditional camp activities like archery, boating, arts & crafts, and campfires!

Payment Options

If your camp has been cancelled this summer, we're offering several ways to manage payment options, including a tax-deductible donation to the Y, which supports our Community Response Campaign, provides scholarships to ensure that all kids and families can experience the outdoors and gain access to environmental education programs, and helps us sustain camp during these challenging times.
