LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA is a 12-week evidence-based physical activity and well-being program designed to help adult cancer survivors reclaim their health. Participants work with Y staff trained in supportive cancer care to safely achieve their goals, such as increasing flexibility and endurance, building muscle, and improving capacity to perform daily activities.
To participate, a medical clearance form and a referral from a medical provider are required. We accept referrals from many types of medical providers, including primary care and specialist physicians, nursing staff, and physical therapists. For more information, use the contact form below or visit your branch. We look forward to speaking with you about LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA or another program that may fit your health needs.
