LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA is a 12-week evidence-based physical activity and well-being program designed to help adult cancer survivors reclaim their health. Participants work with Y staff trained in supportive cancer care to safely achieve their goals, such as increasing flexibility and endurance, building muscle, and improving your capacity to perform daily activities.
To participate, a medical clearance form and a referral from a medical provider are required. We accept referrals from many types of medical providers, including primary care and specialist physicians, nursing staff, and physical therapists.
