Dear Y Community,

We hope the holidays were a time of peace and joy for you and your loved ones. Even as the memories of the holidays linger warmly in our hearts, we’re looking ahead to all the great things that will happen in 2023 based on the seed planting, watering, and nurturing that the Y does in community, with your support all year long.

In this edition of Impact News, we’ve quantified the astounding impacts you helped us bring last year to lives across our community, especially for those furthest from opportunity. The numbers are truly staggering and speak to what we can accomplish in community together. Members, donors, volunteers, partners, and staff – you all played a vital role, and your role will be even more critical in 2023. Thank you for helping us do so much; from addressing rising food insecurity and the need for emergency shelter and wraparound services, to providing life changing enrichment, outdoor education and so much more.

You’ll also learn what it means to serve the Y as a volunteer board member and upcoming details of the annual fund drive. Please join us!

We’ve never done this vital work alone, and we’re looking forward to having you continue to walk alongside us in 2023.

In community and gratitude,

Loria Yeadon
President & CEO
YMCA of Greater Seattle
