Silas is in his 2nd year at the Transition Learning Center (TLC). TLC provides a program to prepare students for life after high school based on their individual educational needs. The TLC  implements the Life Centered Career Education curriculum which focuses on daily living skills, personal-social skills, and occupational guidance and preparation.

Through the TLC program, Silas works 3 mornings per week at either the Mt. Si Senior Center or the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA. You may have seen Silas doing some light cleaning or folding towels at the Y.

After graduating from TLC, he hopes to work at Costco. Silas has a great sense of humor and is very easy going. He has a big group of friends; many whom he made while attending Mt. Si High School. His friends would tell you his smile is infectious and he loves to laugh.

Silas takes dance lessons once per week, participates in the Special Olympics, loves music and enjoys swimming. He lives in Fall City with his mom, dad and two cats: Queen and Princess. Silas enjoys vacation. One of his favorites was the trip to Disneyland he took with his family last year.
