Whether it’s wheelchair accessibility or safety bumps on the ground at crosswalks, we’ve made progress with the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to improve the lives of 1 in 4 Americans with disabilities. Despite this progress, there is so much more to do to achieve disability justice for all, especially those disproportionately impacted by disabilities. Meeting ADA requirements is just the beginning. We all can help create an accessible world where everyone can thrive.
