Camp Nurse for a week: Volunteers staff our summer health centers. The position requires an RN and a one-week commitment. Enjoy the beauty and activity of camp while supporting the medical and first aid needs of campers.
Lice Guards: No, you didn't misread that! We are looking for volunteers to join us at camp check-in locations to help us screen campers for lice prior to sending them off to camp. Commit to a minimum of 4 check-in dates, falling on Wednesdays, Saturdays or Sundays over the course of the summer. Training is provided!
Orkila Check-In & Bus Supervisors: The counselors eagerly await the campers' arrival at Camp Orkila, and a mix of summer staff and parent volunteers supervise the kids en-route. Spend four Wednesdays/Saturdays traveling to and from Orkila on the buses, help build connections between arriving campers, and listen to camp stories on the return trip. Volunteers who cannot commit the full day help parents and campers with the check-in process.
