Camping lanterns are a must-have for any camping trip. Why not make your own DIY camping lantern at home? You only need an empty jar, some glow-in-the-dark paint, and a paintbrush. Simply paint the inside of the jar with the glow-in-the-dark paint and let it dry. Once dry, you can turn off the lights and watch your homemade camping lantern light up the room.

Scavenger hunts are a fun way to explore the outdoors and discover new things. But who says you can’t have a scavenger hunt at home? Create a list of items to find around the house or backyard, such as a rock, a flower, a feather, or a bug.
