During this training, you'll learn how to effectively mentor and coach young athletes in any sport. You'll also discover how to create a consistently reinforced team code and culture throughout the season, manage behaviors with empathy, and develop and harness young people's social and emotional skills.

One of the most exciting aspects of this training is that it was designed with intentional social-emotional learning components in partnership with National University's Inspire program. This means you'll learn cutting-edge techniques for connecting with youth and helping them develop important life skills that will benefit them long after their sports season.

In addition, you'll receive a certificate of completion and access to the Coach-Mentor Training Resource Hub, which includes supplemental resources that work with the training module.

Perhaps most importantly, this training will teach you how to work effectively with youth in and from underserved communities and create a positive team culture that reflects the diversity of the youth you serve. This is critical when coaches work with young people of varying racial, gender, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Don't miss this incredible opportunity to improve your coaching and mentoring skills while positively impacting young people's lives. Register today for the U.S. Soccer Foundation's free virtual Coach-Mentor Training!
