Preschool campers will love engaging in hands-on learning, exploration, and making new friends in our safe and structured Minis Camp. Caring and trained Y camp counselors lead art projects, sing-a-longs, fun games, and outdoor activities for all to enjoy.
A new theme is creatively woven into the day's activities every week to keep campers excited and engaged! Choose your favorite week or attend all for a summer full of non-stop fun and friend-making.
July 8–12
Dive into a world of imagination and artistry as you explore various creative mediums and express yourself through hands-on projects, making each day a masterpiece!
July 15–19
From painting with penguins to reading with rhinos, embark on an animal-filled journey filled with learning and laughter in this wild and wonderful animal adventure!
July 22–26
Step into a world of magic, where giants, wizards, and magical creatures await. Embark on thrilling quests, create enchanting artwork, and concoct potions in a realm of wonder and imagination.
July 29–August 2
Blast off into the cosmos as you embark on an intergalactic journey, discovering the wonders of space, stars, and planets. Have a stellar time as a tiny astronaut!
August 5–9
Each day is a colorful adventure as you explore the world of colors through science experiments, art projects, and games. At the end of the week, find a pot of gold at the rainbow's end.
August 12–16
Beat the heat with a week of watery adventures! From watercolors to water games, splash and learn in a fun, cool environment.
August 19–23
Make your favorite books come to life through songs, plays, crafts, and more. Journey through the pages and beyond in this literary adventure.
Minis Camp at the Matt Griffin YMCA is offered July 22–26, July 29–August 2, and August 5–9.
Minis Camp at the Kent Y ends August 16.
YMCA Day Camps are always nearby at local parks, elementary schools, and Y facilities. We offer Minis Camps across King and south Snohomish counties.

Minis Camps runs Monday–Friday for three hours. Actual times vary by location.
There is no Extended Camp available for Minis Camp.
If your child will be 3–5 years old by the first day of the camp week you choose, they can be a mini camper!
If your child turns three after June 24 and you would like to sign them up, you will need to contact our registration team for an age override, as our system recognizes ages by the start of all summer programs on June 24 rather than specific weekly camp sessions. Please call (206) 382-5022 and press three for support.
Registration for day camp will open in February as follows:
Weekly camp registration closes on the Wednesday before the camp session at 5:00 pm. For example, for camp starting on July 8, registration would close on July 3 at 5:00 pm.
Yes, the Y is committed to ensuring all families have access to quality and enriching camp programs. The Y provides financial assistance and a sliding fee schedule.

Five-day weekly fees: $170 for Y members or $220 for Community members
A deposit of $15 per week per camper is due upon registration. Payments will be drafted on the Saturday two weeks before each camp session. For example, for camp starting on July 8, payment will be drafted on June 30.

Your child must be potty trained or wearing pull-ups and close to accident-free to attend Minis Camp. If you have questions about your child's readiness, please email us at youthsupport@seattleymca.org.
We will not be swimming in a pool, but we will have tons of fun with water!
For cancellations, changes, or transfers, we require written notice via this form by end of day on Wednesday, 12 days prior to the start of the session week. For example, for camp starting on July 15, cancellations must be made by July 3.
Camp deposits are non-refundable and may not be transferred to account balances except for other camp programs. The Y reserves the right to charge a $25 fee for multiple registration changes. No refunds or credits will be given for absences, withdrawals, disciplinary suspensions, or removal of a camper.
Failure to complete requirements for attendance, including paperwork and payment, that result in days missed from camp will not be refunded or credited.
Weekly day camp fees will not be pro-rated, refunded, or credited for missed days of camp in a week.
