Traditional Camp (Entering Grades 1-11)
Camp Colman programs are age-specific to bring out the best in everyone. Traditional campers may be entering grades 1-11, but not all sessions are available to all grades. Each camper is assigned by age and gender to a cabin, which features full bath/shower facilities and is supervised by at least two college-aged counselors. Younger campers try their hand at camp activities with close supervision and bedtime routines to help them feel comfortable sleeping away from home. Older campers discover activities like the high ropes course, canoeing, marine exploration, vertical playpen, biking, the Camp Colman catwalk and leadership opportunities in addition to all the traditional camp activities. All campers are given daily choices from a variety of activities, such as arts projects, swimming, boating, archery, climbing, sports and the giant swing. Days end with campfires, skits, singing, laughter and gorgeous sunsets over the Olympic Mountains.
